Congratulations to the CHS Speech and Debate Team for winning the 1st Place Grand Sweepstakes at the ending San Diego State Qualifying Tournament this weekend! Competing in 17 events over 3 weekends against 21 high schools, Carlsbad has the 1st Place League Champion in 10 events, including allof the prepareddebates! Special Congratulations to San Diego Debater of the year: CHS's Gavan McCarthy and San Diego Competitor of the Year: CHS's Arin Zwonitzer.
