Student Leadership Council (SLC)is a leadership program for exceptional high school students in CUSD. This past year, they have had the privilege of working with 48 high school students from Sage Creek and Carlsbad high schools. To become a member of SLC, there is a short application that will be open fromMonday, April 26ththroughTuesday, June 1st2021. In addition to the application, there is an interview process in June and students selected to participate will be notified in July 2021. Applying to SLC is open and encouraged to every CUSD high school student who meets the GPA requirements.

Carlsbad Unified is hosting Summer School in June and July in two formats (hybrid attendance and distance learning) to provide an opportunity for students to make up credits of courses they have previously attempted and earned a D or lower in. To formally request and confirm makeup courses in Summer School, each family MUST complete this Please be sure to review your student's academic history through the AERIES portal (under Grades) and request your seats in needed coursework through the above Summer School Request form as soon as possible.
