The CHS Counseling Department will be going into 9th grade English classrooms on 2/11 and 2/12 to conduct Course Selection presentations. All of the forms that will be distributed during our presentation can be found on the CHS Counseling Department website under the Freshmen tab. The following week, 2/19 - 2/22, counselors will follow up with each student with a one-on-one meeting during their English class to review their individual course selections and answer specific questions for next year. Students : please remember to bring your completed course selection form, with parent signature , and enter your courses into Aeries in the “Academic Plan” before your one-on-one meeting with your counselor. A specific date for your follow up meeting will be given during your Course Selection presentation. These meetings will be held between 2/19 - 2/22. If you would like to look at a list of all courses offered at CHS and the course descriptions and prerequisites, please go to the , located on our counseling website. As a reminder your counselor will change next year. Carlsbad High Schoolis partnering with SDSU tohostits very first Dance Marathon Dance on March 1st from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the New Gym. Unlike the other dances held throughout the year, 100% ofthe proceeds from Dance Marathon will go directly back to the kids at Rady's Children's Hospital.
